I’m not sure I’m ready to do this…
I’ve started to tell a few people about this website and about my journey towards the Virgin London Marathon 2010 .. and it’s scary!
There’s no turning back now. Telling you, emailing friends and family around the world and beginning the mammoth fundraising effort (£5,000 needed guys!) is really daunting. I’m starting from zero..the tin is empty..this site isn’t exactly full yet either. However, over the days, weeks and months I’ll be adding more and more information and telling you how everything’s going.
My biggest challenge, other than the 26.2 miles I have to run, is raising enough money for Macmillan Cancer Support – I’ve promised Macmillan I can do this but…erm… between you and me,..umm.. I am a little worried I’ve bitten off more than I can chew! I’ve set up a JustGiving page to collect online donations or you can click any of the JustGiving donation buttons scattered around my site. If you prefer not to donate online then please contact me using the Contact Page or connect with me via Facebook. Don’t forget to add your comments to the Posts I add.
