For those of you who follow me on Facebook and Twitter, you’ll be rather familiar with a source of trouble, exasperation and fun in my life. There’s no-one like him…I introduce Sydney..my chocolate Australian Labradoodle!
He’s a little over 8 months old and full of energy and mischieviousness. He’s a terrible thief having stolen, and partially eaten, a number of mobile phone chargers, designer spectacle frames, cds, clothes pegs, drawing pins, numerous dextrose energy tablets, all plants within reach including unearthing every single spring bulb in the garden, books, children’s homework (honestly!), carrier bags, kitkat wrappers are a delicacy, vacuum attachments, pens, pencils (particularly those with an eraser at one end) & undoubtedly a variety of things I have yet to discover are missing!
Recent Facebook status update: “I am trying to ignore the dog… which is difficult as he’s currently got half a book of stamps stuck to his head!..if I go anywhere near him, he thinks it’s a game and darts behind the sofa ..I thought being a grown up was going to be so much better than this … <deep sigh>”
He’s known by many names: Sydney, Syd, Sydders, Skidney, ‘that blasted dog’….and answers to none of them!
Here’s a small gallery of photos to show you the infamous Sydney Sayers!

Ah don’t you just love them, I have a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and he is just adorable, he`s eight years old now but still has the energy of a puppy !
