I’m excited, thrilled and extremely nervous to have been given a place in the Virgin London Marathon 2010. Not only have I got to train my body to run 26.2 miles (preferably in a reasonable time and not behind the guy in the deep sea divers outfit!) but I want to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support…a lot of money… £5,000 to be precise!
As I write this, in early October 2009, both goals seem a long way off. To be honest, I don’t know how I’m going to do it… but I’m very fortunate… I know you. You’re intelligent, caring, kind, witty…and very generous! With your help, I can do this. All the money you donate will go straight to Macmillan Cancer Support and help people living with cancer right now.
Every penny, cent, pound, dollar, euro, moolah, buck and quid will motivate me to train harder and run further.
Please give generously and together we will make a difference. You can click the JustGiving logos/donate buttons on this page and safely donate online.
Thank you so much.
Joanna
